Soldotna’s Tania Boonstra and Kenai Central’s Greg Fallon finished in the top 10 at the massive George Plumley XC Invite on Saturday at Palmer High School.

In the girls race, which had 180 finishers, Boonstra was second in the 5-kilometer race at 19 minutes, 44 seconds, with Colony’s Morgan Ainsworth taking the win at 19:41.

Chugiak won the girls team title with 42 points, while Soldotna led the peninsula by finishing fifth at 151.

Also scoring for the Stars were Kathryn DeBardelaben in 18th, Sasha Brott in 35th, Annie Burns in 37th and Kathryn Cox in 79th.

Seward, the defending Division II champions, were the top Division II team in the field. Scoring for the Seahawks were Hailey Ingalls in 34th, Selah Brueckner in 50th, Katie Van Buskirk in 57th, Juniper Ingalls in 72nd and Maddie Haas in 78th.

Emilee Wilson led Kenai at 66th, Claira Booz led Homer at 69th and Adelyn McCorison led Ninilchik at 70th.

In the boys race, Robbie Annett of Grace Christian stayed undefeated this season by winning at 16:18, while Fallon was fifth at 17:05.

South won the team title with 87 points, while Homer was the top peninsula squad, taking 11th with 311 points.

Scoring for the Mariners were Johannes Bynagle at 54th, Reid Rauch at 56th, Ethan Styvar at 57th, Jai Badajos at 61st and Tait Ostrom at 95th.

Noble Cassidy led Soldotna at 42nd, while Ridge Conant led Seward at 92nd.
