Machine members take title in city softball tournament

The Homer Softball Association held its year end city tournament this past weekend.

The Machine, sponsored by Prodigy Medical and Dutch Boy, won the championship by defeating Summit Physical Therapy 14-7. Beluga Lake Lodge took third place.

MVP honors went to Jaclyn Arndt of The Machine and Scotty Owen of Summit.

Team members for The Machine are: Robert Toner, Robert Crow, Joey Logan, Danny Stanislaw, Sam Buenting, Ryan Douglas, Katie Cannon, Amanda Barth, Cassie Stanislaw, Jaclyn Arndt, Hannah Zook, Ashley Switzer, Shelby Hagen, Heath Smith and Steve Cannon.
