Amy Johnson and Kelly Smith were joined in holy matrimony on Sept. 15, 2012, at the Christian Community Church. The bride’s son, Maxwell, walked his mother down the aisle to be with his new father. The ceremony was officiated by their pastor, David Taylor. In attendance for the bride were her maid of honor, Jennie Engebretsen, and bridesmaids Toni Ross and Jen Ryan. For the groom were his best man, Maxwell Johnson, and the bride’s two new sons, Mat Smith and David Smith. Granddaughter Briley served as flower girl. The couple honeymooned in Maui and will continue to reside in Homer.
