Ninilchik resident, Mr. Christopher Paul Bristow, 55, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at home in Ninilchik.

A celebration was held at his house Sept. 17, 2022.

He was born Nov. 3, 1967, in Tolary, California. He received his GED and soon after joined the U.S. Navy. In 2003 he moved to Alaska living in Ninilchik. He worked for ATEC building boats in Kenai and worked at various restaurants as a cook. He managed the Save-U-More Deli department in Homer for a time and worked for 3 bears at the Liquor Store in Ninilchik. Christopher received the National defense service medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and SW Asia Service Medal.

“He was a quiet man, well liked and loved by his family and friends.”

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Bristow of Ninilchik; sister, Kathy Bowen of Ninilchik; son, Kevin Bristow of Yuma, AZ and Daughter, Nicole Bristow of Portland, Oregon.
