Mary Rebecca Boone, age 75 of Anchor Point, Alaska, passed away suddenly on October 24, 2025. Rebecca, or Becky, as she liked to be called, was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher. She was known for taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary; from teaching children, to gardening and birding, Rebecca found delight in all that life had to offer and sought to share that same joy with those she loved. Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Sarah; son, Levin; and four grandchildren, Karita, Cohen, Darian, and Alina. At her request, no memorial service will be held. For those of you that knew her, please celebrate her memory the next time you pick up a good book, listen to the birds sing, laugh with a child, plant a garden, or take a peaceful walk down your favorite trail.
