Middle school wrestlers compete in Seward

Homer Middle School wrestlers took second place at the borough meet at Seward Middle School last weekend. The team will be in Fairbanks this weekend for the state championship tournament at Tanana Middle School.

Eighteen Homer athletes competed against other schools in the district, Kenai, Seward, Nikiski and Chapman. Skyview took first place at the meet with 302 points and Homer’s total score was 190 points.
