Asa Timothy Stage and Halie Elizabeth Gates

Asa Timothy Stage and Halie Elizabeth Gates were united in marriage on Aug. 30, 2014, at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Veneta, Ore.

Guests attended from New York, Alaska, Colorado, Texas and California.

Halie is the daughter of Mike and Cindy Gates of Veneta. Asa is the son of Tim and Heidi Stage of Homer.

Anne Marie Gurries was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brigid McMahan, Kendall Gates, sister-in-law of the bride, Olivia Gates and Jessica Gates, sisters of the bride, and Courtney Stage, sister of the groom. Joanna and Ashlynn Gates were the flower girls for their big sister.

Travis Gates, brother of the bride, was the best man. Groomsmen were Tyler Gordon, Ryan Wooten, Reni Robin, Jeremy Woltz, cousin of the groom, and Chris Gates, brother of the bride.

The newlyweds went to Cabo San Lucas for their honeymoon. Halie is a 2010 graduate of St. Thomas Becket Academy and is currently employed as a universal banker at US Bank in Monmouth, Ore. Asa is a 2011 graduate of Homer High School and is finishing his senior year at Western Oregon University. The happy couple resides in Independence, Ore., with their dog, Henry, and kitten, Lyla.
