Sept. 11

An officer at 9:09 a.m. helped a person to retrieve their belongings on Lake Street.

A caller at 9:23 a.m. reported that a person appeared to be passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle on the Sterling Highway. An officer went to the scene.

A caller at 1:01 p.m. reported vehicles were parked near the street on Ocean Drive Loop. An officer went to the area.

A caller at 1:56 p.m. requested assistance with a family member on Aspen Lane. An officer went to the scene and arrested a 20-year-old woman on an arrest warrant.

A caller at 3:02 p.m. reported it was an accidental dial from their Apple Watch.

A caller at 3:15 p.m. reported a possible wanted person at Ohlson Lane and the Sterling Highway. An officer responded and arrested a 40-year-old man on an arrest warrant.

A caller at 4:42 p.m. reported a theft from a home on Early Spring Street. An officer was advised, but the person later found their property at their home, and the report was unfounded.

A caller at 4:50 p.m. reported a woman acting strangely on Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the area and found everything was OK. The woman was upset over a prior incident.

An officer at 5:47 p.m. assisted a man with a “box of drug paraphernalia” on Heath Street.

A caller at 7:07 p.m. reported a wanted person in the Homer area. Officers arrested the 32-year-old man on a warrant and took him to the Homer Jail.

A caller at 9:27 p.m. reported a theft from a building on Lake Street. An officer went to the scene.

A caller at 10:33 p.m. requested a welfare check on a woman lying on the ground on Main Street. An officer went to the scene.

An officer at 11:19 p.m. arrested a 27-year-old man on an arrest warrant on Poopdeck Street and took him to the Homer Jail.

A caller at 11:45 p.m. requested a welfare check on an employee in the Homer area. Everything was found to be OK.

Sept. 12

A caller at 4:48 a.m. reported a vehicle parked in the middle of the road on Eagleview Drive. Officers went to the scene and took a man into protective custody.

A caller at 7:46 a.m. reported a person lying face down in a grassy area at Soundview Avenue and the Sterling Highway. An officer went to the scene and gave the person transportation.

A caller at 3:23 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle on Homer Bypass Road. An officer went to the scene.

A caller at 3:40 p.m. reported a minor in distress at Kachemak Drive and Arctic Tern. An officer went to the area but couldn’t find the minor.

A caller at 3:39 p.m. reported a vehicle that didn’t belong there parking in a parking lot on Ben Walters Lane. An officer went to the scene and found everything was OK.

A caller at 4:34 p.m. reported he and another tenant were arguing on Main Street. An officer went to the scene and gave one person a ride to a different location.

A caller at 6:36 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch on Kachemak Drive. An officer went to the scene.

A person went to the Police Station to report concern for a family member on Lake Street. An officer went to the scene and found everything was OK.

An agency at 7:56 p.m. relayed a REDDI report on a vehicle at Mile 164 Sterling Highway. Officers went to the scene and the driver was charged with reckless driving and failing to report an accident.

A caller at 10:19 p.m. requested a welfare check on a woman screaming for help on East Pioneer Avenue. An officer went to the area.

Sept. 13

A caller at 12:57 p.m. reported that he had been threatened on Main Street. An officer spoke to the caller.

Two callers at 1:25 p.m. made REDDI reports about two vehicles at West Hill Road and the Sterling Highway. An officer spoke with both drivers.

A caller at 10:50 p.m. reported a highly intoxicated woman at a local bar on Homer Spit Road was refusing to leave. Officers went to the location and took the woman into protective custody.

A person from Quinault Avenue at 10:08 p.m. made an accidental 911 call, and was “highly uncooperative” while dispatch was trying to clear the call. Officers went to the area and were not able to find any emergency.

Sept. 14

A caller at 12:50 p.m. reported a woman in a building on Lake Street causing a disturbance. Officers went to the scene.

An officer at 5:49 p.m. assisted Alaska State Troopers on Frontier Lane.

A caller at 8:45 p.m. made a REDDI report on a vehicle on the Sterling Highway. Officers contacted the driver and didn’t note any impairment.

An officer at 9:52 p.m. issued a DUI warning to a driver on Ben Walters Lane and also issued a citation for driving with a suspended license.

A caller at 11:16 p.m. reported suspicious activity on Ocean Drive. An officer responded to the area.

Sept. 15

A caller at 6:45 a.m. reported a burglary at a home on East Bayview Avenue. An officer went to the scene and found the report was unfounded.

A caller at 12:07 p.m. reported seeing a man on their property on Fireweed Avenue. Officers responded to the area.

An alarm company at 2:12 p.m. reported a residential alarm going off on Rene Court. Officers went to the scene and arrested a 27-year-old man for theft, burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.

A caller at 3:36 p.m. reported a vehicle collision in a parking lot on Lake Street. An officer went to the scene.

A caller at 8:43 p.m. reported a suicidal woman on Mattox Road. An officer went to the scene and found everything was OK.

A caller at 10:47 p.m. reported an unknown person in a home on Lakeshore Drive. Officers went to the scene and arrested a 40-year-old woman for misconduct involving a controlled substance.
