A caller at 7:27 a.m. reported a man sleeping in a car at an East End Road address. Police issued a man a trespass notice.
A caller at 9:26 a.m. reported an eagle in distress in the water off the Spit. The caller later reported the eagle made it to shore OK.
Police at 12:17 p.m. contacted a person driving a vehicle on the Spit beach in a prohibited area. Police cited the driver.
A caller at 4:59 p.m. reported a disoriented woman not making sense and asked for a welfare check. Police contacted the woman and she was taken to South Peninsula Hospital.
June 14
A caller at 8:20 p.m. made a “report every dangerous driver immediately” complaint. Police contacted the suspect and did not see any impairment. Police warned the driver about bad driving habits.
A caller at 9:18 p.m. reported two scuba divers spearing fish in the Nick Dudiak Fishing Lagoon on the Spit. Police responded.
Several callers at 9:42 p.m. reported a bear cub in a tree at Karen Hornaday Park with a large group of onlookers. The caller was concerned about the safety of the people. Police responded.
June 15
A person at 2:19 a.m. made a 911 call of a domestic dispute at a Sterling Highway address. Police responded and arrested a 21-year-old man for criminal mischief.
A caller at 12:59 p.m. reported a neighbor cutting down a tree on the caller’s property on Bonanza Avenue. Police responded.
A caller at 12:30 p.m. reported a theft from a Pioneer Avenue yard.
A caller at 5:22 p.m. reported a large amount of water coming down Pioneer Avenue near Woodside Avenue. Police notified Public Works.
A caller at 7 p.m. reported a case of fraud.
June 16
A caller at 5:28 a.m. asked for police assistance with a drunk man at a Bartlett Street address. Police responded.
Police at 9:44 a.m. contacted a 50-year-old man driving on Bunnell Avenue and issued him a summons for driving while license revoked.
Police at 10:37 a.m. contacted people camping in a no-camping area on Main Street.
A caller at 2:16 p.m. reported a possibly drunk man riding a bicycle and falling on Pioneer Avenue. Police contacted the man and gave him a ride home.
Police at 2:18 p.m. and 3:34 p.m. served search warrants.
June 17
A caller at 12:11 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on her son and his girlfriend after they were overdue to meet her. The missing people made contact.
A caller at 12:30 p.m. reported a black bar in a tree near the Sterling Highway Police advised the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
June 18
A caller at 5:16 a.m. reported a red SUV parked on the Spit beach near the Nick Dudiak Fishing Lagoon.
A caller at 6:27 a.m. reported an issue with a downstairs neighbor regarding smoking at a Main Street apartment. Police responded.
Police at 10:32 a.m. contacted a 32-year-old man on the Spit and arrested him on a warrant.
A woman at 11:01 a.m. made a 911 call that a man was at her door saying people where chasing him. Police responded.
A man at 1:50 p.m. made a 911 call that there was someone in his Main Street apartment. Police responded and took a person to the hospital.
A person a 3:54 p.m. made a 911 call of a plane in distress on Beluga Lake. The caller then reported the plane was OK and taxiing.
A caller at 10:28 p.m. reported being harassed at a Lake Street address. Police responded and separated the parties.
Police at 12:54 p.m. contacted a 33-year-old woman at a Bartlett Street address and arrested her on a warrant.
June 19
A person at 2:05 a.m. reported seeing a car driving on the Spit with a door open and a person hanging out of the car.
June 20
A person at 6:37 a.m. reported a man on a Pioneer Avenue sidewalk acting strange and drunk. Police responded.
