Pet of the Week: Dr. Leon

Dr. Leon is a 2-year-old male.

Have you ever wanted to learn a new language? Well look no further, Dr. Leon here has a whole other language of his own. One must learn it in order to co-habituate with this young spirited thing. He is too smart for his and others own good. He is very playful, has a big personality and will let you know at all times what he wants. He will sit on a lap whenever possible loving every minute of it, but shhhh, don’t anyone. The shelter staff cannot ruin his macho reputation. The staff love him here at the shelter but he gots to go … so he can bless others with his presence and bring hours of endless entertainment to all!

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
