Pet of the Week

Sarah is an 8-year-old female cat. A strong, independent feline who knows what she wants, and what she doesn’t want. Follow you around like a dog? Yes. Dogs within a mile? Heck no! She is really coming around and is just a lovely cat. She is eagerly waiting to find her person and would flourish in a quiet home with lots of love. This little gal is sure finding her way into the hearts of the staff — do you have room in yours?

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-7 p.m. Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Closed Mondays. For more information, call 235-3141.
