Alaska State Troopers at 4:47 p.m. received a report of a burglary at a home near Mile 148 Sterling Highway. Troopers responded and saw evidence that the homeowner interrupted the burglary when arriving home. Troopers checked the immediate area but did not find anyone.

The homeowner reported being gone only a short time and seeing a suspicious, dark in color sedan in the area when the person left the area. Troopers ask anyone with information of the attempted burglary to call them at 235-8239, reference case number AK1501905.
