Glacier Kings 18U team take first in state tournament

Glacier Kings 18U take first in state tournament in 2-1 win over Juneau.

The Homer Glacier Kings hockey team took first place in the 18U A State Tournament at the MTA Events Center in Wasilla on Monday. Coached by Chris & Joanna Owen, the Glacier Kings beat the Juneau Capitals 2-1. The 18U team is for players up to age 18, and includes many members of the Homer High School Mariners hockey team.
